Here are all the details on our five picks for Friday, February 2 - Friday, February 9, 2024:

1.  Teddy Bear Toss, Bentley Hockey vs. West Point

Come see our local and beloved Bentley Hockey play against (and beat!) Army West Point at their annual Teddy Bear Toss Game! Bring a new teddy bear to toss on the ice and get  donated to Waltham Police and Fire departments. Friday, February 2



2. Tree Tapping & Sugaring Basics at Waltham Fields Community Farms

Have you ever wondered how to tap that maple tree in your back yard? Learn how at Waltham Fields Community Farms! Registration required. Saturday, February 3


3.  Meet the Instruments! Hosted by Brandeis Music Department

Hosted at the Waltham Public Library, students from the Brandeis University Music Department will introduce a variety of musical instruments! Get to know some instruments and try them out! Free event for children of all ages. Sunday, February 4


4.  Animal Senses with Habitat Education Center

Habitat Education Center and Wildlife Sanctuary in Belmont is hosting a 6-week course designed to explore how wild animals in our habitat experience the world around us through hands-on activities, act-outs, learning pages, stories, and experiments. There may even be a few creatures you'll get to meet in person! This is a program designed for families with children of 5 to 10 years old. Backpack babies are welcome! Registration is required. 5.  Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: Grand Opening of Embassy Performing Arts Center!

Celebrate the Grand Opening of Waltham's newest performing arts center! The Grand Opening event will have doors open for the community to tour the facility and learn about the various events and programs the EPAC will offer.  Friday, February 9
